Community Care Services LLC CORONA VIRUS 2019 (Covid-19) Prevention Plan, Policy and Guidelines

Office Prevention Plan  

Community Care services LLC is dedicated to promoting a safe workplace for our employees and clients during this Corona Virus 2019(Covid-19) Pandemic.

Office Plan

  • We actively encourage all of our employees to telecommute or work from home.
  • We encourage employees to frequently wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer.
  • We encourage office rotation between employees to promote social distancing.
  • No more than 10 employees per office at a particular period in time.
  • Staff meetings are held via zoom video conferencing.
  • We encourage staff to only come to the office if they have training or other office duties that cannot be performed from home.
  • All employees should avoid elevators and use the stairs (unless employees cannot safely use stairs)
  • We encourage minimal contact with clients that do not need essential support services.
  • We recommend that employees who are sick and/or ill or have members of their immediate household who are sick and/or ill to stay home.
  • After an employee or employees have been exposed to or with someone with Covid-19, we strongly encourage the employees to stay at home and get tested immediately.
  • Employees who test positive for Covid-19 should get medical attention and advice immediately; and even with no symptoms, employees should self-quarantine for 14 days and may only return to work after two (2) negative test results for Covid-19.

 

Community Programs’ Plan

  • To ensure the safety of our clients all employees are mandated to wear mask, gloves and face shields during their home and community visits with clients.
  • Clients are also encouraged to wear mask during their interactions with our employees to prevent any transmission.
  • After an employee and/or client have been exposed to Covid-19, we strongly encourage the employee and/or the client to get tested immediately and stay at home. Employee and/or client who have been exposed are encouraged to inform everyone (including client’s case manager and other support team members) that they have had contact with and advise them about their exposure to Covid-19.
  • Employees who test positive for Covid-19 should get medical attention and advice immediately. Even without symptoms, the employee(s) should self-quarantine for 14 days and may only return to work after two conservative (2) negative test results for Covid-19.
  • We encourage housing tours to be done virtually in order to minimize community spread to our employees and clients. However, in cases where the Community Case Worker has to tour an apartment or a residence, sign a lease; we encourage everyone to wear their mask and if possible a face shield and practice social distancing. 

Personal Protective Equipment

  • We provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to or for all staff including mask, gloves, face shield, shoe covers (for moving staff), Lysol Spray, Clorox Wipes and Hand Sanitizers.
  • All office computers desk, keyboard and mouse should be wiped down or sprayed with disaffecting spray or wipes at the end of use.
  • We encourage employees to use hand gloves when using public office equipment like fax, water system and other office equipments.
  • We have Thermometers and Oximeters in the office that is used to check body temperature and oxygen levels as needed when employees will be mandated to return to the office.
  • Masks are a requirement and to be worn during employees time in the office and out in the community with clients. We encourage all employees interacting with clients to utilize both Mask and Face shield.

 

Community Care Services LLC will continue to adjust its Covid-19 policy and guidelines based on new recommendations from the Minnesota Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control.
